Corruption & Black Money

“Indians are poor, but India is not a poor country”, says one of the Swiss Bank directors. He says that 280 lac crore of Indian money is deposited in Swiss bank, which can be used for tax less budget for thirty years, can give sixty crore jobs to Indians, can give free education to all Indians. It can make four lining road from any village of India to our national capital i.e. New Delhi. Free power supply to more than five hundred social projects is possible by spending some from the given sum. Every citizen can get monthly two thousand rupees for sixty years. Loans from World Bank or IMF won’t be necessary. It can be imagined well from the data base, provided by the said Swiss banker, how our money is blocked by rich politicians. We have every right to fight against the menace of corruption and corrupt politicians as well. As it is demanded, a stringent law to bring the disproportionate money and properties back to our country has become imminent. News makers such as Anna Hazare or Baba Ramdev are not the champions of the cause. It is the suppressed will of all our country men. These activists have made the peoples’ dream visible. So, naturally a larger section joined the chorus. It is not imperative to find out flaws in the personal characters of people like Anna or Baba. Country won’t flow away if some cons in their moral fiber or temperament be ascertained. But first and foremost duty of our regime is to swing into action with a view to rescue our nation from a deep depression, from an un-imaginary future. If a simple rule can restore life to the economy of our country, then it is not understood, where the problem lies for formulation of the act. Simply showing the catalog indicating the southward inflation can seldom evacuate us from the looming poverty and hunger. Men on the throne are busy exhibiting the graph of higher per capita income and thus the affluence. But it is just not the state of condition at the ground zero level. Only a tough legislation to liberate our money, stored over seas may release us from the ghastly bankruptcy, which is awaiting us.
